When choosing a highchair!!!!

So when my first son was born, of course we wanted to have all the newest and best products on the market.  Take the high chair for example.......we chose his high chair based on looks and the number of things it could do, for example, it could recline, go up and down, looked like the worlds comfiest high chair.
If only someone had advised us to check on how to clean the damn thing........
No simple wipe over with a cloth, no, this thing had to be washed properly in a machine and all the foam padding inside then had to be rearranged (which took about an hour each time).
SO before you buy your child a high chair the most important thing to look for (aside from the safety aspects) is how easy it is to clean..... because trust me you will be cleaning it many times!!!!!
